Bespoke research

We produce focused research projects built around a client’s question rather than a fixed methodology or generic product. Depending on requirements, this can involve a combination of desk research, structured analysis, futures and scenarios, and simulation modelling. Client outputs can include reports, research notes and briefings.

Decision support tools

We develop tailor-made software when they help make mechanisms and assumptions explicit, and shed light on aspects that are difficult to see through traditional qualitative analysis. Packages include locally executable code and documentation.

Review

We examine client-supplied analytical products to make their assumptions, reasoning and conclusions more transparent. This can include the use of formal and computational methods as well as more traditional social-scientific methods. We also offer analytical red-teaming services.

Commissioned work and collaboration

We deliver articles, reports and briefings for policy and research audiences. We are also open to partnerships with organisations whose expertise or market access complements our own.
